- ALL Professionals who work with children, young people, adults and families from all refugee, asylum seeker and migrant communities; and
- to Children, young people within educational/youth establishments to recognise, understand and be aware of the needs, aspirations and cultural/religious differences of the world around them…

For professionals
We believe that through providing specialist information to professionals in their daily work they will have a greater understanding of legal, moral and social duties they may work come across and other ideas such as Days of celebration, projects for engagement, political correctness and gesture understanding to aide them in increasing their abilities to provide effective, efficient and appropriate services to young and old from all communities.
For children
Giving them an insight from an early age that may reduce bullying and stereotyping, aide to build new relationships/friendships with other children from diverse backgrounds which will, as they ground, form a firm foundation of understanding and equality for their futures. For young people
Challenge preconceptions and misconceptions already made, raise individual and group understanding of the situation and circumstances of asylum seeker, refugee and migrant young people of similar ages; differences in their culture, lifestyle, way of life etc and the positive impact such communities can have on local and national life. |
